Violet made up this song the other day at the spur of the moment. God, I love this child! We're trying to get back to a regular schedule now that we're home. I try to keep a tight schedule that is broken down into activities, free play, a mini lesson plans of either math or writing skills, and so forth. Violet seems to thrive when there's a set schedule for her and it sure does make life easier for me. It's 11 AM? time to start getting lunch ready. 12 PM is quiet time, and if I'm really lucky, a nap. 3 PM is snack time and Art is immediately afterwards. After art is our writing time. (BTW, we do things before 11 AM.) Violet has been very reluctant to learn how to write her letters and we're finally making some headway with that. After a particularly successful writing time Violet came up to me and began to sing this song. I have a great kid!
