since I've posted anything. Sorry. We're in the process of a massive trip. So far, we've been in the wonderful states of Michigan and Indiana. I'd only do this kind of trip for the people I love most in this world.
Our flight was quite the experience. I've never had the pleasure of flying through a lot of turbulence until the other day. I had a death grip on my husband's pants leg and another lighter, but still tight, grip on Violet as our plane bounced around in the sky. It didn't help my nerves any when the drinks/snack cart fell in the back of the plane, sending ice down the isle. Thankfully, after nearly an hour into the flight, the bouncing stopped and my nerves settled down. Of course, the pill I took to relax may have had something to do with the nerves! I'm kidding! At least I think I am. The flight IS a bit of a blur for me.
Violet has been enjoying her visit with all of her aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents and great grandparents. There's nothing like being around family and sharing in all the love and fellowship that you encounter when surrounded by them. Violet seemed to sum it all up when she said, "I wish we could lasso every one's houses together and tie them all up! That way we can be with family all the time." I couldn't have said it better myself!

I can't imagine having family in other states. So good that you all are able to visit. Even if it was a bumpy ride to get there. :)
