It doesn't matter how old you are, whether you're four or forty, it means a lot to hear praise from your parents. Especially if they tell you you're doing a good job raising their grandbaby. My Mom caught me on facebook last night (yes, she's on facebook folks!) and we had a great little "chat". And out of the blue, my Mom said...
"Kimberly, your Daddy and I are so grateful and blessed by what a great job you and Gregg are doing in raising our grandbaby. We are so proud of you two!"I choked up with that simple sentence.
I'm choked up by it now.
And all I can say is, "Wow. Thank you Mom! Your words mean the world to me!"

It is so great that you guys have such a great relationship. I can see why she is so proud. You are a great mom!!
It seems the older I get the more my parents praise means to me. Of course, they're considerably less impressed with me now that I'm not a toddler and all cute and all. ;)
