A Parent's Praise

It doesn't matter how old you are, whether you're four or forty, it means a lot to hear praise from your parents. Especially if they tell you you're doing a good job raising their grandbaby. My Mom caught me on facebook last night (yes, she's on facebook folks!) and we had a great little "chat". And out of the blue, my Mom said...
"Kimberly, your Daddy and I are so grateful and blessed by what a great job you and Gregg are doing in raising our grandbaby. We are so proud of you two!"
I choked up with that simple sentence.

I'm choked up by it now.

And all I can say is, "Wow. Thank you Mom! Your words mean the world to me!"

It seems the older I get the more my parents praise means to me. Of course, they're considerably less impressed with me now that I'm not a toddler and all cute and all. ;)
