While getting Violet settled into bed tonight, she asked me a series of questions. I have several teacher friends and family who would appreciate her response...
Violet - Mommy, what did you want to be when you grew up?I busted out laughing with that response. I'm not sure where she picked that up from since we homeschool but I'm sure several of my friends and family might agree with Violet's assessment after having a rough day with their students.
Me - Well, I wanted to be a lot of things.
Violet - Like what?
Me - I wanted to be a veterinarian, a lawyer, a teacher, just to name a few.
Violet - Why would you want to be a teacher? You would be surrounded by little monsters all day.
