Inquiring Minds Want to Know

Violet has hit the stage of asking, "What's this / that?" for anything and everything. I get asked all day what one thing or another is and amazingly Violet remembers what everything is. And if something has a confusing name, or is hard to say, Violet is very intent on speaking it correctly. She'll look to us and say it over and over again until she gets it right. I've always felt that we have an exceptional little girl. She may not be a genius, in what most people regard genius to be, but she is incredibly smart. It won't be long now before we begin to hear "Why?" with every little thing... "why is the sun bright?", "why is the sky blue?" and so on.
