This morning, while trying to get Violet ready for the day, I tried to help her brush her teeth. Violet clamped her mouth shut and shook her head no. She then told me, "No Mommy, I can do it. I'm a big girl!" What was I thinking? Violet then took the toothbrush out of my hand and proceeded to brush her teeth, just like the big girl she pronounced herself to be.
Well, let me tell you something Violet, you may grow up and become a big girl but you'll always be my baby! I love you, Mommy.
