Decking The Halls

Our angel tree topper was given to me by my parents. I grew up with her sitting on top of our Christmas trees when I was a little girl and is very sentimental to me. I like how the cross (a birthday present this year) shows in the background. A great reminder of WHY Christ was born.

Violet's first ornament...

I got this cute little angel bear in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and just love him! I went there one year with my parents to see all the beautiful trees in the fall. Let me just say, Tennessee is a be-u-ti-ful state.

Finally, two of my favorite ornaments. I have two of these giant silver ornaments and they are heavy. I have to be careful where I place them because they will pull down the branches. Because of how I placed the giant silver ornament, this cute little fella looks like he's sitting on the branches.

I have quite a few bear ornaments. I didn't plan that. I just seem to gravitate towards them for some reason. I also have alot of icicles and snowflakes on the tree which I did plan. We don't get snow down here very often and so this is my way of enjoying it, even if it is fake. ;)

May you all have a fabulous Christmas and a wonderful New Year. Blessings to you and your family from ours.

That's awesome that you have the angel from your childhood to put on your tree. That makes it so muchmore memorable.

There's nothing better than a tree decorated with ornaments that have sentimental meaning.

Oh, and Gatlinburg? Don't you love it? :) We go there at least once a year.

Cute ornaments! Somehow, we've collected a ton of moose and snowman ornaments. Don't know how that happens.
