Sharing

Violet has had the opportunity to play with several little girls over the past few days. We've gone to our neighbor's house and played with their two girls. Then, today, our next door neighbor's granddaughter came over for a visit. I have been very pleased with how Violet plays with the other children. Being an only child you would expect for some selfish behavior to be displayed. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised to see Violet sharing her toys and playing along with the other girls. Every now and then the word "mine" reared its ugly head but, just as Violet would say it, she would hand over the toy that she was just claiming. We are very fortunate to be blessed with such a loving and caring little girl. I'd like to say that we had something to do with that but really the credit must go to God.
